Marcus is a mathematician at the University of Oxford, where he is also the Simonyi Professor for the Public Understanding of Science. He is the author of a number of popular maths and science books, including The Creativity Code: How AI Is Learning to Write, Paint and Think, and Thinking Better: The Art of the Shortcut. He is one of the world’s leading thinkers about the intersection between science, creativity and digital technologies.
